    We booked several weeks in advance, arranged meetings in the area only to be phoned four days before that the cabins had been given to another group because they wanted a longer booking. Left us with no accommodation. Book here if you wish but its unreliable and unprofessional. Would not recommend unless you are prepared to sleep in the back of your car!

    Worth the detour to stay a night, even if you are not planning to fish in the river (fishing rods are provided). Though the cabins are in flattish paddocks, they have views across a beautiful river to hills Suit people seeking peace and a feeling of remoteness. The two 'cabins' are in fact separate small houses. Roomy, clean, attractive timber decor, good natural light, built to a standard rather than a price. A real kitchen. Big bathroom but no washing machine. Very friendly host.
